Restaurant Zum Falken in Mainbernheim

For a long time, when we come on holiday to South Tyrol, my wife and I have been coming for lunch sometimes here at the "Zum Falken" and we have always enjoyed it! Great food and a lot of kindness in a quaint restaurant! To try!

Beautiful venue, great food and service with a smile on your face!

Despite face masks, the family manages to be so warm and friendly that we will definitely come back. The food tasted really good.

The service is exceptionally nice and no matter which dishes we order, they can all be rated as very good. Looking forward to the next visit.

Cisa e puntOttimo hotel with rooms and apartments also equipped with swimming pool, located in the village of Cornaiano on the Wine Route, known for its wine cellars and wine bars. In the restaurant, which is also outdoors in the summer under a vine arbor, you can enjoy excellent Tyrolean cuisine with generous portions, at affordable prices. The Niedermayr family management is precise and punctual.

The Falken in Girlan / Cornaiano (part of Eppan / Appiano) is a home-style, rustic family-run restaurant with a wonderful, secluded garden terrace. Formerly a farm, the Falken offers space for up to 250 guests in various rooms. The rooms are opened by the family members according to needs and occupancy. All rooms are furnished in a typical way. The restaurant and its sanitary rooms are perfectly clean. The menu is seasonal and offers space for many types of taste. The menu could be supplemented with gluten-free dishes, as we had a friend with this problem. Sure, it's not easy, but would be a good extension. We were there during the Girlaner Kellerfest 2017 and visited the Falken twice ... for good reason. The ordered food (see photos) were all very tastefully arranged and very, very tasty. Fresh and good ingredients ... great! But what surpassed the food was the hospitality and warmth of the family who realized the service. Always with a smile the two brothers and their sweet sister. When the father of the family came around the corner with the accordion and sang songs with us and the other guests, my gastronomic heart rejoiced. Bravo, that's lived gastronomy!
